Hey Kids- Been exploring many of the sites that Don poured all over us in this tribe (thanks again Don!) and I've been trying to save some of the 16bit samples however they just turn into blips when I play them back in Quicktime. Anyone know how to remedy this?

Re: 16bit Samples in Quicktime?
Tue, February 27, 2007 - 6:23 PMall due respect, but why on earth are you using quicktime
as an audio player? I think there are so many better free players out there
that accept more formats.
and , in response to your question, there are several good file conversion
programs for free on the web for both Macs and PCs.
Just google around a little and find one.
I surmise that most of the samples are in .WAV formats and what you want to
do (I'm assuming you are on a Mac using Quicktime) is convert them to
.AIFF
you can put freeware conversion software .wav to .aiff
If you still have problems, please email me off personally and I'll hook you up with something you can use.
