I am looking for a non-iPod that I can load self-made tracks to be used as a sound source in conjunction with live gear...

Traditionally, I would just go with an MD player/recorder... however, I will be moving overseas and traveling quite a bit this next year and would like to bring music with me without bringing boxes full of cds... (not to mention the occasional DJ opportunities)

So, what I am looking for is:
a portable device, under $300
(user) replaceable battery
line-in recording (even its not the greatest, though better than mono)
a friendly playlist (for jumping around tracks live - "now where is that glitched flute track..?")
can handle WAV and OGG
easy transfer ov files (would prefer it to register as a drive unless there is some sweet software I haven't encountered yet)
decent storage, like 20G

I have been checking out the iAudio X5L... it only has mono line in... and you need a dock to plug into... close to what I am looking for... and..... Is there something better?
